Airbus in its new project is going to make a plane that will fly with hypersonic speed (to travel faster than the speed of sound). That plane will fly at a speed of 5567 kilometer/hour.

The company has acquired the license to develop the aircraft and passengers of this plane will reach from London to New York (5567 kilometers Journey) in just one hour. Nowadays all modern aircraft, including the A330 complete this distance in 7 to 8 hours.

The US Trademark Office has issued a license to make hypersonic plane to Airbus last week. Airbus says this plane will travel 4 times faster than the speed of sound. The maximum seating capacity will be of 20 passengers and missile technology will be used instead of normal engines.
