New horizon Mission For The Pluto

According to scientists "New Horizon Mission" is all poised for the Pluto Mission. According to US Space Agency NASA New Horizon Mission's distance from Pluto is Now 1 Million Miles Till Monday morning and this distance is decreasing very rapidly.

On Tuesday there will be a short time for Horizon to collect scientific details and some detailed images of Pluto.

All the details that have to collect by New Horizon in a few hour of time. There is 5 billion kilometers of distance between earth and Pluto. If you want to send any message from Pluto it will take some hours to reach on earth. This is the reason that this mission can not be controlled directly. Therefore to complete the mission computer has react on the command that was given some time before from the Earth.


On Sunday the mission engines has confirmed that there will be be no new command will be send to the New Horizon. It will work on already feed commands.


This is a very big step for the human to know about space. On the success of New Horizon the details about Nine Classical Planets will be completed.

According to New Horizon project director Glen Fountain this is a historical moment for him and his team. He said to his team that there are few opportunities in the life when you are a part of something big.

 As the New Horizon is getting closer to Pluto, images are being released for public. In new images there are images of pluto's larget moon Charon. Scientist are amazed to see the difference between the the Pluto and its moon. The color of the Pluto is gray while the color of the Charon is quite red.

According to a theory the present condition of the Pluto and Charon is due to a collision in the ancient past. Therefore there should be some common attributes between the two. But according to New Horizon's principal investigator Alan Stern, They are completely different from each other.



The New Horizon will be nearest to Pluto on 14th of July at 11:50am (GMT+1). When its distance from the Pluto will only be 12500km.

LORRI the high resolution camera of New Horizon will be able to make images form this distance as its resolution is better than 100 meter/pixel.

According to the mission manager Alice Brown. The initial information will be very crucial as it will tell that if we have achieved the mission purpose. He also said that there are not reasons that we think that we have not achieved our goals.

On Wednesday more images will be released.
