Facebook has announced to provide Internet access to the backward areas of the world through an Internet drone. The Provided Internet speed can be up to 10 GB per second.

According to company this drone wings are 737 Boeing look alike and it can fly at an altitude of 90,000 feet with the capability of flying for 90 days.

Internet Drone service will be launched on an experimental basis at the end of this year.

Jay Parikh, Facebook's vice president of global engineering and infrastructure told that British aerospace team has designed this drone.

He also said that "there company wants to increase the speed of progress in new technology so that internet infrastructure change drastically".


This is part of a project of Social networking site Facebook to bring developing countries closer.

Experts say that this strategy will increase the number of Facebook users.
