Comet P67
European Scientists says that According to the pictures sent by space robot "Philae" the surface of the comet is much harder than they anticipated.

A German space researcher from German Space Agency said, they thought that the surface of the comet will be dusty and softer but it is packed with the rocks, stones, gravel, and other things.

Scientists hope that the sample collected by Philae digging the surface of the comet will help to know of the information about the evolution of planets and its life will be uncovered.

The landing robot on Comet P67 was separated in November last year from its mother ship Rosetta.

Rosetta took 10 years to reach this star and it was the first time in human history when a spacecraft stepped on the surface of a Star.
Philae mission was to analyze the rocks and ice of the comet.
After landing on the surface of the comet, Philae was operational for about 60 hours and after that, its solar battery drained (because it was felled in a ditch and unable to recharge) in result of which Philae became unresponsive.

Philae
However, a few weeks ago when P67 got closer to the sun Philae obtained so much energy that it could work again.
After waking up Philae also tweeted a message "Hello Earth! Can you hear me?"
Philae is as bigger as a washing machine. It was bounced one kilometer after colliding with the surface of the star.
