Some Misconceptions about mobile phones are as follow:
1 - Higher mega pixel, better camera
Have a look on its aperture size and sensor for better result not megapixels. High megapixels only work when you want to print your photo. For a better picture quality always ask which sensor is used and what is aperture size.
2 - More cores, better phone
This is also not true because performance depends upon processor architecture, Multi threading support and on applications. For example, high-end quad-core Qualcomm smart phone will perform always better than Octacore Mediatek smart phone.
3 - The battery will last longer than
Although it is true generally, but not always. If your phone’s battery has more capacity but crap apps are installed which start again and again in background, WiFi remains on and background processing continues then battery will drain quickly.
4 – Automatic brightness consumes more battery
In reality activating automatic brightness, Bluetooth and Live Wallpapers only make a difference of 2%.
5 – Data will be lost if bring magnet closer to phone.
There is nothing true in this because Smart Phones use SSD (Solid State Drive) memory on which magnet has no effect on Smart Phones. This could only be found in magnetic memory electronic devices.
